How Pllayer collects and uses data

M/s. Athive Technologies Private Limited and our associates/partners/successors/permitted assignees ("Pllayer", "we", "us" and "our") are fully committed to respecting your privacy and protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy ("Policy"). Reference to "you" in this Policy refers to the users of the Pllayer Platform (as defined below), whether or not you access the services available on the Platform or consummate a transaction on the Platform ("Users").

This Policy sets out:

The types of information that we may collect from you when you access or use our services (collectively, our "Services") through our Platform, and

Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

The www.pllayer.in website and Pllayer mobile application, either directly or via licenses assigned by us, are jointly referred to as the "Platform".

By using or accessing this Platform and providing Information (as defined below) or SPDI (as defined below), you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. You also expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your Information and/or SPDI in any manner as described in this Policy and further signify your agreement to this Policy and the Terms of Use (being incorporated by reference herein). If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Policy, please do not proceed further or use or access this Platform/provide us with any information.

I. Definitions

1. Account – refers to the account created by Users to access and participate in the Platform. Currently, accounts are created via mobile number OTP login only.

2. Non-personal Identification Information – refers to any non-personal information collected from Users pursuant to their interaction on the Platform, including but not limited to the browser name, the type of device and technical information about Users’ means of connection to the Platform such as the operating system, the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information./p>

3. Personal Identification Information –refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person, including but not limited to name, phone number, email address, and residential/commercial address disclosed by you in relation to the services available on the Platform. Users may, however, visit our site anonymously. Pllayer will collect Personal Identification Information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information.

For the purposes of this Policy, Personal Identification Information and Non-personal Identification Information shall together be referred to as "Information".

4. Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) – consists of information relating to the following:

i. financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details;

ii. physical, physiological and mental health condition;

iii. sexual orientation;

iv. medical records and history;

v. biometric information;

vi. any detail relating to the above clauses as provided to a body corporate for providing service; and

vii. any of the information received under above clauses by body corporate for processing, stored or processed under lawful contract or otherwise.

5. Third-Party – refers to any person or entity other than you or us.

II. Collection of Personal Information by Pllayer

a) In relation to the use of the Platform

To create an Account, Users are required to disclose basic personal contact details such as mobile number for OTP verification. We may also collect additional information such as name, email, gender, age, address and other demographic details if you choose to provide them.

We may also collect Information that you post in your profile, booking history, preferences, or feedback and any other correspondence on the Platform.

When you use our location-enabled services, we may collect and process information about your device's GPS location (including the latitude, longitude or altitude) and the time the information is recorded, to customize the Services. You can withdraw your consent for this feature by disabling the GPS or any other location-tracking functions on your device.

We may also monitor in-app communications between Users (if applicable) for the purposes of preventing abuse, safeguarding rights, and resolving disputes.

b) From Third-Party Accounts (future provision)

In the future, you may also be able to register for an Account using your existing Google, Facebook, or similar accounts. If and when such features are enabled, by linking such accounts, you may allow us access to certain information (like your name, email address, profile picture and other details permitted by the respective Third-Party’s policies).

c) Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by your browser. Cookies may be used to record aspects of your visit and assist us to provide you with uninterrupted service. They may also allow ad networks to deliver targeted advertisements.

This information is anonymous and is not linked to personal details you submit to us. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect your experience on the Platform.

d) Collection of SPDI

For transactions on the Platform, Users may be required to disclose certain SPDI (such as credit/debit card or UPI details) for payment purposes. This data is collected directly by the payment gateway, and we do not store or access such details. We only use payment gateways that comply with industry security standards.

III. Use of Personal Information by Pllayer

We may use your Information:

To process and respond to queries.

To provide, maintain, and improve our Services.

To diagnose technical issues.

To provide customer support.

To fulfill obligations arising from contracts, including billing and collections.

To personalize your experience on the Platform.

For analytics, marketing, and service improvements.

For any purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.

With your consent, for additional purposes.

We may also communicate with you via SMS, email, app notifications or phone calls to share updates, promotions, offers, or service-related information.

IV. Sharing of Personal Information by Pllayer

General Information Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ Information. We may share aggregated demographic information with business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for limited purposes.

Legal Requirements
We may disclose Information to comply with subpoenas, court orders, government requests, or legal investigations.

Third-Party Service Providers
We may provide Information to contractors, partners, and vendors who help operate our business, such as payment gateways, analytics providers, or hosting services.

With Consent
We may share your Information with other parties if we have your explicit consent.

We implement reasonable physical, electronic and managerial safeguards to protect your Information and SPDI. However, no system is completely secure. While we strive to protect your Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for breaches beyond our control.

You may review, update, or delete certain Information by accessing your Account settings or by contacting us. However, some requests may be subject to legal retention requirements or limited by law.

The Platform may contain links to Third-Party websites, apps or advertisements. These are operated by Third-Parties and are not controlled by us. Please review their privacy policies before using their services.

Pllayer reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform, and where appropriate, you may be notified via email or app notifications. Your continued use of the Platform signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.

As you access and use our Services, certain information may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., fraud prevention, payment processing). Such sharing will always be limited to legitimate purposes. Please review the privacy policies of such Third-Parties for further details.
